Two Moons’ 1946 Ford with a Little Studebaker Rat Rod

Two Moons’ 1946 Ford Rat Rod

Two Moons, a member of the Immortal Bastards CC in Mesa, AZ, and a good friend of Roadkill Customs stopped by the shop recently to say hello. We of course took the opportunity to snap some shots of his 1946 Ford Rat Rod so we could share it with you…

A gentleman from Globe, Arizona built the truck, and Two Moons acquired it several years ago. The truck was originally flat black with some crazy Z-stripes down the sides. Two Moons had it repainted flat black and red with flames and had the details done by Bonehead Pinstriping.

The truck has the nose of a Studebaker and bobbed and narrowed 1970 bed. It sports a 302 motor, C6 automatic transmission and positraction rear-end. The windows are electric and the sound system is stout enough to blow the doors off!

The truck was featured on the front page of Roddin’ & Racin’ magazine and has also won a few awards at various car shows.

The truck is strictly a fun ride, not a daily driver, but Two Moons enjoys every minute he’s in it! “Put a little money in it, have a little joy ride… that’s all that matters,” he says.
