There were many trials and tribulations along the way with this 401 Buick Nailhead engine rebuild, but it’s finally done!
The team pulled this iconic V-8 from a 1965 Buick Wildcat that had been sitting in a field in Northern Michigan for the better part of the last 3 decades. While the car was completely unsalvageable, we thought we’d take a crack at resurrecting the engine. Unfortunately, the block and heads were junk, but we managed to use a few parts off the original engine to bring a trusty American V-8 back to life…
