The owner was given his stepdad’s 1953 five-window Chevy 3100 (named Cecil) a few years ago to eventually give to his son when he is old enough.
His stepdad bought this ’53 3100 when he turned 16 in 1975, and after some study, it was decided to turn this truck into a RestoMod, complete with a 1985 Chevy S-10 chassis from CraigsList…
…and a 5.7 liter TPI engine from a 1987 Chevrolet IROC-Z that was purchased new, but was, unfortunately, totaled a mere 9 months later…
