A huge part of the Hershey AACA Fall Meet is the car show on Saturday — the AACA rules for a judged show state that cars must drive in under their own power.
Now with certain race cars that can be tough as a majority do not have onboard starters and they all are extremely loud. So the Hershey AACA uses the track around the sports stadium to do what they call a “Condition Run”.
This demonstrates that each car can drive under its own power. The really neat part of this event is that the stadium it is held in was once a 1/4 mile oval race track that opened in 1939…
