Karl Fisher of Make It Kustom discusses how he built his own English wheel on the cheap, and explains why!
Karl’s 36″ throat English wheel is constructed from 4″ x 6″ x 1/4″ wall HSS (Hollow Structural Steel) with 2″ x 4″ x 1/4″ legs. The wheels (anvils), and adjuster were scavenged from an inexpensive Harbor Freight English wheel.
After that, you’ll learn how to use an English wheel to:
- Planish,
- Stretch, and
- Form sheet metal.
He also offers up some useful techniques and tips to get you started on your own…
