When you rebuild an engine, there are all sorts of small, inexpensive upgrades you can do to try and assure maximum performance and reliability.

If an engine has been refreshed or rebuilt multiple times, oil plug holes in an engine block can become worn out which means new plugs may not fit correctly, which can lead to leaks and a potential blow-out.
