Goodguys returns to the Valley of the sun to celebrate in style at the Goodguys 9th Spring Nationals Giant Car Show, March 16-18 at WestWorld in sunny Scottsdale, AZ! One of the fastest growing events on the Goodguys event schedule, the 9th Spring Nationals will showcase over 2,500 1987 & older hot rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks, and classics on display throughout the stunning desert landscape of WestWorld! The event also features over 200 vendor exhibits, a Giant Swap Meet & Cars 4 Sale Corral, Goodguys AutoCross timed racing competition, Nitro Thunderfest Dragster Exhibition presented by Fuelcurve.com, a Model Car Show, special parking areas on Saturday, a FREE Kids Zone and so much more! *No unauthorized vehicles inside the junkyard (motorized disability scooters/similar types ARE allowed).
*Photos of/towards the house are not allowed, intentional or unintentional.
*No-shoot zones will be marked (model or photographer-only areas).
*If you require electricity, be sure to bring your own extension cords, surge protectors, etc. There are limited plug-ins available.
*Be mindful that the Junkyard is still open for business during the event, so customer part-picking for purchase can/may occur.

Participants: Vehicle registration welcomes any female-owned (or co-owned) collector car, truck or motorcycle, any year, in any condition.

Early bird registration: $15 (October 1, 2017 – January 19, 2018)

Regular Registration: $20 (January 20, 2018 – March 23, 2018)

Day-of Registration: $25 (March 24, 2018)

Vendors: Vendor merchandise is limited to vintage clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc. No reproduction or ‘retro’ items please. Hair and makeup artists wanted too! $40 per 10’x10′ space.

Day at the Bay with Cars and Viclas music by Santana pa Ti , vendors food and music bring the family !

Join us at 12:00pm on March 31, 2018, for a panel discussion featuring some of the rising female stars of the automotive world. Drawn from a variety of fields and occupations, these women will discuss the genesis of their interest in cars and how they were able to pursue this passion.

The talk itself is free, but requires paid admission to the museum. Light refreshments will be served.

The automotive world, and the car culture that surrounds it, has frequently been seen as male-dominated. Design, engineering, manufacturing, and motorsports were traditionally seen as domains of men. However, this image tends to mask a long history of involvement of women in the creation, production, and use of cars. From Bertha Benz’s contributions to the first practical car, through pioneering efforts by many other women to break into automotive industries, women have played an important role in the history of the car.

This is particularly true when looking at the present. Despite some continuing obstacles, women have established themselves firmly in all aspects of the automotive industry. They have become lead designers and champion racers. They have influenced how and why we produce cars. And they have brought attention to how traditionally male-dominated subjects can benefit from female voices, in turn serving as inspiration for a new generation of automotive enthusiasts.

First Santa Paula Cruise Night of the season. Cars show up late afternoon and usually stay until dusk.

In recognition of Autism month, we will be hosting our 3rd Annual car/bike show “REV’D UP for Autism”.

A family friendly event, the car/bike show is open to all cars and trucks, and over 25 trophies will be awarded in numerous specific class categories in addition to Kid’s Choice and Best in Show. Included in the day’s festivities will be games for adults and children of all ages, food, door prizes, and raffles. All proceeds will be donated to the non-profit 501(c)(3) Pawsitive Friendships to provide animal assisted therapy to children with Autism.
