” BLOOD DRIVE CARSHOW MISSION:
When we sat down to conceive of a new car show; we wanted to do one with a purpose that benefits society -medically. Considering just how many of us American’s are without sufficient insurance coupled with the recent natural disasters and Las Vegas incident; it became apparent as to our daily shortage of blood supply.
Fact: Blood has a 2-week shelf life. Any inventory not used in that time frame is diluted and flushed.
This keeps the supply chain stretched at all times. Then, add on any large incident that occurs and we’ve got a daily problem.
Fact: Being heavily tattooed does NOT prevent you from being a donor. That is a myth!
We are partnering with Lifesource and American Red Cross to bring them blood donations, and assist in raising financial contributions.
We have pledged FREE Admission for those who donate a pint of blood during the event. We encourage you to sign-up and commit to donate at any one of the blood drives exhibiting at the show and make a cash donation no matter what size.

” BLOOD DRIVE CARSHOW GUIDELINES:
Please help everyone have a safe and enjoyable BLOOD DRIVE Carshow by following these simple guidelines for the show:
Registration is open ONLY to 1967 and earlier Traditionally-Styled American HOT RODS, Kustom cars and Traditionally-Styled Motorcycles and VW’s.
#1. No billet wheels or exposed billet accessories
#2. No rat rods
#3. No stock cars
#4. No I.F.S. on fender-less cars
No Imports! (Vw’s Ok) Nothing newer than 1967.
*No driving around within the show grounds. Once you enter the show, our Event Staff will direct you to a parking spot. please park and remain parked during the show hours (8am to 6pm).
*No Saving Spots – if you want to park together, you must arrive together.
*No Burnouts or Speeding. Please keep your speed below 5mph in
all show areas, and be very aware of pedestrians around you.
Failure to comply with these guidelines or instructions given by Event Staff may
result in your ejection from the event.
The BLOOD DRIVE Carshow goes on rain or shine, there are no refunds.
PROHIBITED:
• No firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed on site.
• No coolers, outside beer or alcohol is allowed inside the gates of the show, per Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) laws. Beer will be available for purchase on site.
• No food or beverages, except for factory-sealed water bottles.
• No BBQ pits or open fires are allowed on BLOOD DRIVE Carshow grounds.
• For everyone’s safety and comfort, no dogs or other pets allowed in show areas (except service dogs).
• No golf carts or motorized vehicles allowed in show area. Personal mobility scooters or wheelchairs are allowed for those who require them.
• No riding of bikes, scooters or mini-bikes in the BLOOD DRIVE Carshow grounds. ”

Day at the Bay with Cars and Viclas music by Santana pa Ti , vendors food and music bring the family !
Join us at 12:00pm on March 31, 2018, for a panel discussion featuring some of the rising female stars of the automotive world. Drawn from a variety of fields and occupations, these women will discuss the genesis of their interest in cars and how they were able to pursue this passion.
The talk itself is free, but requires paid admission to the museum. Light refreshments will be served.

The automotive world, and the car culture that surrounds it, has frequently been seen as male-dominated. Design, engineering, manufacturing, and motorsports were traditionally seen as domains of men. However, this image tends to mask a long history of involvement of women in the creation, production, and use of cars. From Bertha Benz’s contributions to the first practical car, through pioneering efforts by many other women to break into automotive industries, women have played an important role in the history of the car.
This is particularly true when looking at the present. Despite some continuing obstacles, women have established themselves firmly in all aspects of the automotive industry. They have become lead designers and champion racers. They have influenced how and why we produce cars. And they have brought attention to how traditionally male-dominated subjects can benefit from female voices, in turn serving as inspiration for a new generation of automotive enthusiasts.
