Everything on the Ford Free-T project is getting a freshening up, so the hubcaps just won’t cut it in their current state.
The Free-T is sporting a set of wide five wheels with a set of accessory stainless “spider caps” and 40 Ford ribbed trim rings.
Both the hubcaps and trim need to be cleaned and polished but the caps have some damage that needs to be addressed. Matt breaks out his Cornwell Handheld Planishing Hammer and some hammer and dollies to correct the damage before taking them to the Eastwood Buffing Wheel to obtain a near mirror polish…
