Vapor is described as, “a ferocious, 785hp restomod 1965 Ford Mustang fastback” that uses a Coyote crate motor with Edelbrock’s latest and greatest E-Force Supercharger that incorporates Eaton’s TVS® (Twin Vortices Series) rotors with four lobes and 160 degrees of twist that optimizes airflow and produces consistent peak efficiency.
The 9.5:1 compression ratio engine made that 785 hp (as well as 660 ft-lbs. of torque) at the flywheel when tested at the Edelbrock dyno facility.

As for Eaton’s involvement, Vapor also features Eaton‘s Detroit Truetrac® five-pinion rear end designed with a scalloped flange for reduced rotating mass and the perfect fit in high horsepower performance applications where extreme strength and durability are critical.

Why is the car named “Vapor”?
As the Roadster Shop tells it, “The fittingly named “Vapor” is derived from the only remnants visible after this supercar passes by.” Vapor is the result of a two-year build, commissioned by a Southern California-based enthusiast and collector, who conceived the project and oversaw its design and production details.
The Roadster Shop team dedicated countless hours, painstaking craftsmanship, and innovative design in the development of this one-of-a-kind car. Their work included a ground-up chassis and suspension design, custom metalwork, design/engineering and production of one-off CNC-machined parts, complete wiring, assembly, and painting.
The interior and upholstery were completed by Palm City, Florida-based Avant Garde Design and the color will be “Sport Classic Gray and Black.”
