Josh Mazerolle from Vague Industries, along with his good friend Dirty Justin, set out on an epic 13,000-mile road trip from New Hampshire to California (via Dallas to drop off an LS motor) in arguably one of the most reliable rat rod pickup trucks in the nation, the Deathwish LS Twin Turbo Hilux, to rescue a 1966 Chevy C10 Truck.
The truck, a 1966 Chevrolet C10 has been sitting for 2 years at an Army recruitment center. It will take some work to get it going again so they can turn around and Road Trip it all the way back to Dallas, Texas where, with the help of Flying Sparks Garage, they will be doing an LS Swap. And of course, it’ll need a Turbo!
What challenges will the LS Deathwish Hilux provide on the way and what will the C10 need to get running? Will they even make it to LA to pick it up or make it all the way to Texas with it? Will Josh’s Army buddy be super stoked with the finished truck?
