This 1965 Mercedes-Benz 190D has had it’s “D” removed and has been swapped up to a modern BMW E30 turbocharged powerplant (the “D” denoted a Diesel engine, a technology pioneered by Mercedes-Benz and championed despite widespread derision in the motoring press, at the time).
