Making Sand Cast Aluminum Car Club Plaques

Penny’s Hot Rods & Customs is casting hot rod car club plaques out of aluminum.

This project entails 3D Printing and using Petrobond sand, a Foundry, and Crucible.

First, they use a 3D printer to make a copy of the plaques, then make a mold using Petrobond sand. Aluminum is melted and poured into the molds.
