Don Wickstrum gives us the run down and a ride along in “Joe”, his ’46 Dodge truck built as a tribute to his uncle, as he used parts from his Uncle Joe’s old truck to complete the project.
Don’s Dodge sports a 4BT Cummins diesel and a turbo he picked up at a garage sale that’s backed up by a built 700R4 transmission.
Most of the truck’s interior has been redone, including the dash, gauges, and a Lokar shifter that Don adapted to fit the truck.
As with most builds, “Joe” is still a work in progress…
