This Loadstar was an eBay Motors purchase (with a long-term goal of building a custom roll-back wrecker and car hauler) for the owners business, who turned to Jack’s Speed Shop in Fort Wayne, Indiana build the old 1974 International Harvester (IH) Loadstar a individual and unique custom truck.
The body, frame, and most of the suspension are original to the truck, while the engine was harvested from a 1991 school bus — a 360 cubic-inch inline six-cylinder IH DT360 that has been mated to an Eaton Fuller Advantage Series 10-speed transmission.
It spools up with a Stainless Diesel S363 5-blade turbocharger and the whole package tips the scales at just over 8,100 pounds.
The build features a custom paint job, a Challenger aluminum deck, tinted windows, train horns, LED light bar, headlights and LED clearance lights.
