10 Iconic and Obscure Vehicles from the 1960s

My grandfather owns a 1957 Plymouth Savoy he bought brand new. He’s driven it across the country 11 times, and last year reached 1 million miles (1,609,344 KM) traveled in that car! His fantastic achievement got me thinking about other cars from around that era.

From the AMC Rambler Marlin to an Oldsmobile Tornado based Jetaway Coach, here are 10 Iconic and Obscure Vehicles from the 1960s…

  • 1969 Volvo 164
  • 1966 Citroen DS
  • 1961 Pontiac Tempest (1960-1970)
  • 1968 Oldsmobile Tornado based 707 Jetaway by American Quality Coach
  • AMC Rambler Marlin (1965-1967)
  • 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Pickup
  • 1964 Citroen Ami 6
  • 1949-1976 Jensen Interceptor
