Gene Winfield's Custom Shop Tour
Gene Winfield is an iconic hot rod and custom builder that is known for such cars as The Reactor, The Strip Star, and The Jade Idol.
Matt and Gene have been friends for a few years, and Gene was nice enough to let the IronTrap Garage crew crash for the night while headed north to Turlock, CA.
Gene took them on a grand tour of his house/museum that he loves to show off. There is a room dedicated to star trek and Matt’s favorite, The Hot Rod Room.
Gene is one of the original hot rodders and customizers, and this was a real treat to spend the day with him.
