DD Speed Shop’s ’57 Chevy Bel Air Giveaway Gets Interior and Exhaust

Dan at DD Speed Shop tells us that the Giveaway ’57 Chevy Bel Air is finally going back together. His friends at Queen City Performance Center chipped in a pair of Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers and a set of electric exhaust cutouts.

Dan slapped those on with a fresh set of tailpipes and the new exhaust sounds wicked! FiTech EFI and wheels are on the way….

See how the car got to this point:

Dan also managed to piece the interior together. When he brought the car home, the rear seat was all ripped up and the front seats were ugly mismatched buckets.

Fortunately, he had a spare tri-5 front bench on hand, so I had a complete set of seats, but they needed to be recovered.

That’s when my new friend at Peg-Town Customs offered to re-cover the seats for just the cost of the material, and they came out fantastic (see the video below of the Reupholstery process)!

He’s cleaned up the door panels, replaced the carpet, and installed the re-covered seats. What a huge difference it made, the interior is looking mint!

The ’57 Bel Air Gets an EFI Conversion ~ Best Upgrade Ever?

The Chevy Goes Space Age with another huge upgrade for YOUR ’57 Chevy Bel Air. FiTech stepped up in a big way and sent us a sweet all in one kit. It’s rated for 600 horsepower and it really woke up this little 327.

The kit was extremely easy to install, just a few bolts and couple holes that needed to be drilled. I gotta say, I might be an EFI guy now…
