Making a 1959 Chevrolet Impala 3-in-1 Casino Table and Bar

I do a lot of custom fabrication for the body shops in town when they have difficulties finding replacement panels. One of them had this back-half they were about to scrap once they used what they wanted. I didn’t want to build a couch — it’s been done too many times.

I picked it up and held onto it for about a year until I was cruising Craigslist and happened upon a 3-in-1 Casino Top Bar — BAM — the creative juices started flowing.

I had to fabricate the trunk seal lip that was gone, the fin molding I used a combination of aluminum channel and extra stainless from a 1957-something. I also used that same stainless for the sides. The taillights were burnt to a crisp, so I cutout Lexan to fit and put rope multicolored LEDs behind.
