World’s Fastest Indian ~ Hear Burt Munro’s Indian Run!

The bike is a modified 1920 Indian Scout Streamliner motorcycle and was immortalized in the movie “The World’s Fastest Indian“.

The bike was seen at the Greenwich Concours D’Elegance, and the guys were fortunate enough to get to see and hear the bike run…

Herbert James “Burt” Munro was a New Zealand motorcycle racer, famous for setting an under-1,000 cc world record, at Bonneville, 26 August 1967.

This record still stands; Munro was 68 and was riding a 47-year-old machine when he set his last record.
