Kurt McCormick is a member of the Ridge Rodders car club. Kurt’s first car, at age 16 was a 1951 Ford. He had many custom ideas for the car, but it never happened. In 1968, at age 24, Kurt bought his first custom, a chopped 1950 Mercury that he bought from Webber Park Motors in Afton, Missouri, a used car lot, and Kurt paid $150 for the car.
Ten years later, Kurt bought his first of many Barris Kustoms cars, Milton Melton’s 1954 Cadillac, also known as The Parisienne. More Barris Kustoms followed, and Kurt started to buy and restore Barris cars from all over the country.
