How To Remove Valve Springs The Easy Way

Jeff from 2HacksGarage is tearing down cylinder heads in preparation to start porting them.

In this video, he shows how to remove the valves with a clamp-style valve spring compressor tool, which is arguably the easiest way to do it.

Editor’s Note: These are brand new heads so the disassembly goes smoothly. Used heads might need a bit of persuasion and lubricant to get them apart.
