Which low-temperature welding or brazing rods are the best?
Todd at Project Farm tests the top brands of low-temperature aluminum welding or brazing rods (in no particular order):
Low-temperature welding rods are designed to melt at approximately 730°F, while aluminum melts at approximately 1,220°F. Each welding rod brand was tested for melting point, tensile strength, and other bonding characteristics.
Ultimately, the best-performing aluminum welding rod brand is tested when it is used to patch a hole in a small engine cylinder head.
