It’s a long story, but the son of the owner decided that his father would never do anything with it, and decided that I was the only guy out there who could bring it back to life.
Every time something broke on it, they welded it to something else. I had to cut the front end apart to remove it. The cab looked pretty good until I media blasted it and then you could see through it in a few dozen places. I have a stack of tubing and a lot of boxes from No-Limit in the garage.
I’m building a frame for it but it will be simple, not groundbreaking. I bought a 1996 Mustang GT for a donor car. It has to be disassembled before construction can begin.
My current plan is to build the chassis, install all the running gear, and put it together to drive. After that, it may get blown apart and painted…
