- Yost,
- Wilton,
- JET,
- Dewalt,

through 3 different tests to identify the weak points.:
- The first test is a maximum clamping force with just the handle. This is important because this is how well it will hold your work.
- The next test is a shock load test. You see all the weak points when you hit it with a big hammer.
