YouTuber Junkcar Willy has been traipsing around junkyards hunting for a project car for the 2022 No Name Nationals. While he found a 1970 Buick Riviera with a 454 in it elsewhere for a paltry $800, his travels took him to Burns Auto Salvage in Vinton, Ohio. The yard has roughly 900 vehicles on-site and has been in business since the early 1980s. More than half of the vehicles have titles/paperwork.
The operation has quite a few viable project trucks and late-model chassis, engine, and transmission donors. Willy’s walkthrough videos show several Ford, GM, and other full-size trucks, as well as some go-to donors such as Chevy S10 trucks.
Take a walk around with Willy and see if there’s anything that will meet your needs. Burns Auto Salvage’s contact information is below the videos.
