This Original Steel 1932 Ford pick-up truck cab has been channeled 6″ (but not chopped) and has been mated with a reproduction fiberglass bed with a locking tonneau cover.
The truck features a 12-gallon fuel cell and battery set-up with pre-wired battery tender mounted in the truck bed, and custom frame, dropped front axle with disc brakes and 9″ rear-end with drums and 15″ Chrome rally wheels.
The power-plant for this radical rod is a 1996 Corvette LT1 350 (recently tuned: rotor, cap, plugs & wires, timing, etc.) with factory computer-controlled Fuel Injection mated to a 4L60e 4-speed Automatic Transmission with overdrive and Lokar push-button shifter.
Dolphin gauges and tachometer, AM/FM/CD stereo and Grant steering wheel, electric wipers, and power emergency brake adorn the interior. This intriguing combo features a matching fiberglass uni-wheel trailer with locking tonneau cover.
Your comfort is managed by a Vintage Air A/C & heat unit.
When cruising, it’ll get well over 20 MPG, when mashing the pedal, look out, ’cause it’s scary fast! The bright yellow paint really gets attention, and bares several chips and minor road scars as a badge of honor for this daily driver.
It fires right up and runs great with a new Be-Cool aluminum radiator and front-end work including alignment.
